Exercise of the week #1

exerciseoftheweekWhilst consistency is important when trying to achieve your fitness goals, it’s always good to try other exercises to challenge the body in different ways plus keep your workouts interesting. Every week, I will pick an exercise I find interesting with a video link plus my own comments on it. Some of the exercises will require equipment but other stuff won’t require anything at all because I am quite a fan of bodyweight exercises.

To start off with, here is the Kettlebell Dead Swing.

What I like about this exercise is that because you have to put it on the ground, it forces you to go lower so you really engage your quads and glutes compared to a normal kettlebell swing. A variation to try would be doing it with one hand. You can also do it with a dumbbell if you use just one hand.
