What is mindfulness?

Mindfulness is a form of meditation that simply involves focusing your awareness on the present moment. From an emotional viewpoint, it involves calmly acknowledging and accepting your feelings (emotional and physical) and thoughts without prejudice or criticism.

You can use mindfulness meditation to improve your concentration, improve your performance, achieve a deep sense of calm and improve your emotional well-being. You can experience a reduction in stress and a lowering of blood pressure plus an improvement in your sleep. It can also be used as a therapeutic activity.

By practising Mindful Motion you can develop your skill in mindfulness, enabling you to more easily deal with stresses throughout the day by tapping into that inner strength required to remain calm.
